You may have to get very still to see it, but there’s a beautiful unfolding happening right now.

Collectively, I’m feeling strongly that we’ve entered a liminal space. A space of tremendous potential.

Like the space within a chrysalis, where the caterpillar is no more, and the butterfly begins to emerge out of the space of imagining.

Scientists – who are often far more intuitive than they are given credit for – have given a name to the cells that make up the “goop” into which the catepillar dissolves inside the chrysalis.

They call them “imaginal cells.”

Rife with potential, these cells bridge the past into a bright new future though the pure power of potential.

It’s as though the cells themselves channel the power of imagination itself in an alchemical transformation that has mystified and delighted humans for millennia – transforming a lowly worm intent only on consuming…

…into an ephemeral creature of Light and Air, dancing lightly from bloom to bloom and pollinating each as it goes – an agent of Beauty, Abundance, and Life.

This morning I opened an email that I “should have” opened over a week ago.

It was from Emma Cavell, a recently joined member and a talented artist, expressing her disappointment that she wouldn’t be able to make our Healing Circle Gathering.

But along with that message, she left a gift:

”I wondered if I may offer an image for everyone to behold for a few moments?” she wrote. “’Free to Be’  a mixed media mosaic, appreciating and sharing our interconnectedness with all of Nature!  Blessed be.”

Accompanying these words was the breathtaking piece of art you see above – embodying perfectly the essence of the message I wanted to share with you today.

We are, at this moment, each of us, an imaginal cell in the womb of the Earth.

We carry with us the wisdom of the past.

And with each dream we hold in our hearts, with each step – however faltering- we take towards those dreams, we weave the fabric of Spirit and Earth into a brilliant future we can only dimly imagine.

It’s a crazy time to be alive. But woven through the chaos is an invitation.

Look back at your life. All the markers are there. The skills you need, the shreds of truth you’ve been shown all your life, the desire in your soul.

You are an agent of change. A Creator of the world to come.

Nothing is by accident. You and I are here, now, for a reason. Truly we were made for these times. If we can imagine it, we CAN create it.
